Kevin officially took his firsts tests in Medical school this morning and did awesome! I am so proud of him, he studied hard and it really paid off. On Monday his starts orientation, they have to wear nice slacks and a tie so I guess this weekend we need to go shopping and iron a few things so he is ready!
The past few weeks Dami and I have been spending lots of time with the Machs (Kevin's Aunt and Uncle)! It is so much fun to hang out with the kids, they always have something funny to say. Daniel joined to group about 12:30 yesterday morning! Jill did an amazing job and little Daniel is just as cute as can be!
Damian is growing up a storm. I weighed him on our scale this morning and he was 22 lbs! He rolled over for the fist time last week and is laughing up a storm! We went to our first La Leche League meeting on Wednesday morning and I loved it! I was really wanting to meet some moms around Ft. Worth and this is the prefect place, lots of kids/ babies and lots of nursing! Kevin got a kick out of me that afternoon/ evening because I kept talking about stuff from the meeting and he could really tell I was excited! Melanie and I might become meeting hoppers and attend the two other local cities, Bedford and Arlington, meetings as well.
We just got back from Gloria's, a Mexican restaurant, with some of Kevin's classmates. They all thought Damian was so cute and it was nice to meet some of the people that Kevin has been studying so hard with.
I have kind of slacked in the picture department this month but will try and pick it up again! Here are two to fill some space...
Here is Kevin's new pet that he found outside of our house. Really, he freaked out when he saw it and ran inside!
Here are my boys taking a nap after a long day of tests today. Aren't they the cutest?!
Cute picture! Let me know if you decide to go to an Arlington meeting. I might join you. :)
ReplyDeleteKevin should have caught that tarantula for me, I need a small , inside pet. I can never remember if the ones with brown on them are the biting female, or is it the all black one? Well, running might have been the best idea, those suckers can JUMP really really fast and far. Nancy
