The kids were great on the plane. I thought for sure Dami would sleep since it was about nap time, but the plane was just too exciting. He was very content in his car seat reading books and coloring. Clare took a few naps and did great too.
After we arrived at the airport we got the minivan and hit the road. It was about a 40 minute drive from Baltimore to Aunt Eldre's and the kids both slept. We got there and enjoyed a wonderful lasagna dinner with hot fudge sundaes and carrot cake to celebrate Eldre and my mom's birthday's that were the week before. There was lots of catching up, laughing and book reading!
It took a bit for Damian to wind down that night because of all the excitement! We stayed in the "vacation house" with most of my aunts, uncles and cousins.
