St. Nicholas Day 2010

We celebrated Kevin's birthday and St. Nicholas' Day today! Since Kevin had to work almost all day we waited until his break about 1:30 to open stockings and he opened his birthday gift. Dami had fun making him a cake and wrapping his gift too!

This year we got the kids musical instruments. While Clare had more fun chewing on them than actually playing them, she did enjoy watching Dami play the triangle. We had our own little band going this afternoon and it was pretty fun!

We are still working out the kinks when it comes to our little families Feast day celebrations and I know it will always be a work in progress, but so far it has been fun! My goal for next year's St. Nicholas day is to find a accurate, high quality children's book depicting the life of St. Nicholas. If you have any suggestions let me know!
